Hailing from the upstate city of Binghamton, New York, this Blues sextet features the best of Traditional and Modern Blues. From covers of Elmore James and Muddy Waters to Johnny Lang and the Vaughn Brothers. Toss in some Jump Blues, Swing, Soul and Funk and you get an entire evening of almost every Blues genre to date. Remember, “The blues is the roots, all the rest is the fruits.” This band loves to play the Blues and it’s obvious that they have as much fun as their fans, or as the guys and Hop like to call ‘em, friends. InsideOut is a “cross-section” (pun intended) of musicians from the worship team at Union Center Christian Church in Endicott, NY. We are excited about performing at Cubestock again this year, and will be playing a mix of covers by Collective Soul and Casting Crowns, as well as some original music. Old Friends

“Old Friends” offers an acoustic folk/rock foundation with many elements of Celtic and Irish music, country, pop, and rock n’ roll. Jim and Tom have been joined by former band mate Tim Emmons and the three share lead vocals, a la’ Crosby, Stills and Nash. Jim handles rhythm guitar and many of the demanding vocal impersonations. Tom excels on fiddle, guitar, mandolin and banjo. If threatened with a Guinness cut-off, he’ll also pull out the tin whistle. Tim is a very talented keyboard player, guitar picker and certified Foosballian.

Over the years, these musicians have built a solid following and reputation in the greater Binghamton area, packing clubs beyond capacity in clear violation of local fire codes. With the home turf comfortably secured, the band is branching out regionally, with festivals, fairs and other special shows in addition to keeping local bar owners absolutely swimming in cash.

So, if there’s something missing in your life – and you’re feeling down and blue – maybe it’s time you spent an evening with “Old Friends.”

Artist: One Who Stayed

One Who Stayed is an Acoustic Alternative band from Binghamton NY.  The
band formed in May of 2005 and has played over a hundred shows in a
variety of venues in and around the Binghamton area, including several
colleges. By adding string instruments to a contemporary style of
playing, One Who Stayed has made a name for themselves in the area.  By
being on the forefront of a newer genre of music, the band has had the
opportunity to play with or open for several different types of bands.
A wide range of styles influences the band and is reflected in their
original music, which is often comparable to that of Radiohead and
Coldplay.  In 2006 the band organized and headlined a charity concert to
aid with flood recovery efforts in the Southern Tier.
